Above Average Risks | Safe and well maintained regarding housekeeping; snow removal; repairs |
Number of Units | Up to 40 units eligible; must be in standard market; no rooming houses or B&Bs |
Protection Class | Must be 8 or better and meet UF coastal guidelines |
Wiring | Must be Romex or better, with 100 amp circuit breakers—no fuses |
Fuses | No Fuses Allowed |
Plumbing | Plumbing drain lines must be PVC or copper |
Means of Egress | Must have 2 acceptable means from each unit |
Insurance to Value | Must be insured to 100% Replacement Cost |
Occupancy | Must have at least 75% occupancy rate |
Life Safety | Must meet all NFPA Life Safety codes |
Hazards on Premises | No swimming pools, playgrounds, vacant, temporary vacant,or under reno |
Interior and Exterior Lighting | Must be adequate for safety |
Smoke and Carbon Dioxide Detectors | Mandatory |
Agent Binding Authority | $1.5 million—call your underwriter if higher limits needed |
